Engaging Fantasy Sci-Fi
Once Cosmic Crit gets rolling, it really gets rolling. The GM does an excellent job keeping the game moving both in the narrative sense and also in mechanics like combat and computer checks. While the background music can sometimes get repetitive, it will soon sink into the background as you become just as engaged in what is happening as the players are. This is one of the cast's best assets - all of the players seem to *really care* about what is going on at all times. They cringe when a player takes damage and cheer when they kill a construct. The audio quality is superb, despite the team clearing using mics of different tiers. There was not a single time when I struggled to understand what was said. My only feedback to the hosts: I prefer jumping right into the action, and the intro was a little long winded for my taste in podcasts. But if Cosmic Crit fans enjoy a few minutes of banter to start the cast, so be it. Keep killing it (it being various ghosts, aliens, and robots :^] )Read full review »

Very enjoyable Starfinder podcast. The players and GM work really well together. Look forward to listening every week. Excited to run the AP myself after listening here and getting the AP myself for Xmas.
