Has gone downhill
This podcast started out as a fairly solid forum for discussion of mostly anti-imperialism and other vital issues. After Brexit/Trump last year Draitser got more concerned about red-brown fash-entryism and that became the dominant topic of most episodes. The unfortunate part is for some reason Draitser throws the baby out with the bathwater and adopts a more liberal frame of analysis, which means you hear more about Assad's barrel bombs and the Kremlin controlling the White House on recent episodes. The show's basically becoming a slightly edgier Democracy Now. I stick with it because Draitser still books good guests and when he stays out of their way the show sings. But when he launches into yet another extended rant about his various social media beefs you'll be wondering where it all went wrong. But that's politics 2017.Read full review »
