Best antidote to MSM "false equivalencies"
Both sides DON'T do it equally, and you would know this if you're a COUNTERSPIN listener. FAIR takes the mainstream media to task and does the real reporting we should expect from the MSM but don't get, and gives voice to those otherwise shut out of mainstream discussion. COUNTERSPIN is very well produced. Each show features a look back at the week's press along with relevant critiques of what the MSM got right or wrong, followed by 2 more in depth segments on stories of current interest. It is frequently heard on many community and public radio stations, but just in case you can't get it in your area, it's now helpfully available via Stitcher Radio as well.

More reviews of CounterSpin
I've learned so much in listening to just 2 installments. I've already bookmarked fair.org and prwatch.org thanks to this podcast. Really enjoyed James Henry of Columbia University. Can't wait for the next installment. Thanks so much!Read full review »
