Leftist history professors don’t seem to be able to think for themselves. George H.W. Bush is a hero for selling out his principles and Nixon is always the villain. I wonder if one of them ever studied Nixon, Judge Sirica and the withholding of exculpatory evidence

This is a great podcast for politics and history lovers, and for every concerned citizen. A good reminder how great (and not so great) leaders lead and how their decisions can have consequences far beyond their immediate circumstances. All that and entertaining at the same time!

I love that this is a non-partisan podcast with positive messages. What a welcome respite from so much rancor that is out there. And how inspiring to hear the stories of these presidents who chose country over self and especially over party. Thank you.

Country over self is AMAZING-I love it and can't wait for the next episode. Really impressed with the balanced approach to politics /history. I'm NOT a history buff but this makes me want to be!Read full review »

This podcast is thoroughly engaging and thought-provoking. Its exploration of a key presidential decision - in this episode by LBJ - was fascinating and left me wanting to hear episode two as soon as it’s available!

Sounds like some much needed exploration of our history to put our current crisis into context. Can’t wait to listen.
