Honor, Hope & Healing

Description
This Memorial Day weekend, ABC News Radio once again offers a special presentation. Hosted by Aaron Katersky, “Honor, Hope and Healing” pays tribute to America’s heroes – honoring not only our fallen military personnel, but also the everyday heroes on the front lines of the pandemic, families coping with loss and others trying to heal wounds of the last year. This year, we visit Arlington National Cemetery to explore its history and hear from those who travel there regularly to visit loved ones. We’ll also spotlight nurses from around the country who’ve worked tirelessly treating COVID-19 patients, and meet at 100 year-old Marine Corps veteran who defied the odds by making it out of the Pacific theatre alive and later surviving coronavirus. Plus, many other moving stories of hope, courage and community spirit.
