Even if you are just learning about this podcast...
Start from the beginning! It's never too late. A few months ago, I started listening from the beginning and I don't regret the effort. Heather does a great job of explaining the context of the story (I'm listening to A Tale of Two Cities right now) and I've found it very, very helpful. Her insight as an educator is delightful, and she mixes it with a nice dose of what's going on in her life... With every podcast, we are able to listen to two stories - the one that's being read, and the story of her personal achievements and joys.Read full review »

Great to listen to when crafting or doing dishes or laundry. North and South is the best book, and I never would have found it without CraftLit. Heather does an awesome job giving insight into the books, and her voice is so relaxing!

I love my visit with Heather Ordover every week. It's like having a cup of tea with a friend. She chooses great books that I enjoy, but wouldn't necissarily read on my own and brings them into context with skill.
