If you want an even-handed analysis of what’s going on in Chicago, don’t bother with this podcast. They can’t give a full analysis of the Shot Spotter software issue. Give me a break Amy!

If you want to know what’s going on in Chicago on the business front then this is your show. Great host.

Didn’t take long for the show to go woke. I’ll save you the trouble of listening - If you’re white, all the ills of the city are your fault. Dennis Rodkin has called all home appraisers, realtors, etc racist.

Amy Guth and the podcast regulars from Crain’s do a wonderful job summarizing the latest Chicago business headlines, as well as diving into selected topics in areas like real estate, healthcare, transportation and politics. Highly recommended as a regular feed for anyone with an interest in...Read full review »

My favorite podcast—love the rotating features and the in depth analysis of what is happening in the city. It’s also a fun listen, thank you!

Great show to get filled in on Chicago news. I am partial to the pods with Amy and Dennis. They have great banter, which I appreciate.

Overall solid informative show. Saying “like” too much and the up inflection at the end of sentences makes it a little tough to listen to sometimes but otherwise A-A+…

I like to keep up w Chicago business headlines and this podcast covers those headlines - but don’t expect to hear a particularly compelling story or talk. Maybe the hosts are bored of the content? It was funny how many times you hear “it’ll be interesting” or iterations thereof as these...Read full review »

Amy and the Crain’s reporters do a great job of giving a heads up on tomorrow’s stories on the way home tonight. Really like the conversational style combined with the knowledgeable insights. Love that it’s Chicago focused but nationally aware.

I wish the speakers would get a microphone. It is so muffled that it is often hard to really hear them.

Aside from the Chicago Comes Back segments which are positively disorientating the podcast is quite useful. The host in particular and most of the guests have just the right amount of personality without being especially biased. The pace is just right and the topics are generally pertinent and...Read full review »

While I enjoy getting the Chicago business briefs, I really like the in-depth discussions with Crain’s beat columnists. Especially fun and informative is the Thursday residential real estate report with Dennis Rodkin. Amy Guth is super conversational and positive.

Love catching up on Chicago business news on my train ride home, but the last two episodes are not loading on the podcast app. (March 19th and 20th 2019)
