“The scales have tipped for me, and the good no longer outweighs the bad.
I feel like the production value of these episodes (and the MMP, too) are abysmal. It sounds like many interviews are being held over Skype using the speakerphone on a cellphone.
The guests are useless at best - an entire episode devoted to some old man and his pissing contest with someone else, other episodes with some reporter who claims to have real information but won't share any details.
People listen to these for the story, not to hear someone say they have information about the case but won't divulge any of it. It'd have been better not to have that episode at all, in that case.
I will say that the hosts do have a great rapport and the seeds of a compelling and intriguing podcast are there, I've just grown weary during the wait. Maybe less speculative drama and more facts are what I was looking for, and this duo just doesn't provide it.”Read full review »
