Encourages Debt
The 1st episode I listened to, he was telling someone not to pay their mortgage off early, and to keep the savings in investments. No no no. The borrower is slave to the lender, and if buyer loses their job, they'll get foreclosed on and probably file bankruptcy! Don't carry debt, if you can pay cash for it, you can't afford it so don't buy it. He talks about real estate as a dependable investment. 1 - renters can move out, not pay, wreck the place, etc. Real estate value - see housing bubble. Among this bad advice , he has snippets of good advice. I can weed them out since I have a lot of experience, but if your new to personal finance, you could mistake bad for good.Read full review »
