I used to love this podcast, you and Ricky taking turns telling the story. This weird introduction takes forever to get to the actual story and the back and forth between the two of you is unnecessary.

see PS They do a great job and share just enough of their life adventures and mishaps to keep interest alive and are friendly and kind. They tell a good story , well researched and complete and are getting better all the time. Count me a fan and don’t look back. And thank you! And don’t feel...Read full review »

I really enjoy this podcast. Very little chit chat and straight to the point. Love it. The only thing that I would love to “see” would be a transition into the ads like, transition music or even saying , “going into an ad.” Something like that. I’ll be deep into the story and suddenly, “he killed...Read full review »

Ok
I have enjoyed this podcast for a while. However, lately it seems likes it’s more filler than actual story. The latest episode stops half way through to do a long spiel on mental health. I thought I had missed the full story. It was very confusing. It completely removed you from the actual...Read full review »

Generally poor, but, “he had went”, really? Gina she, Fred he. Leave off the extra modifiers. Either use Gina and Fred or she and he, not both! Learn the difference between bring and take: bring it HERE, take it THERE.

As much as interesting the stories are and pleasant the voices, the two just ruin it by saying “like” multiple times in just one sentence. So annoying- it’s butchering my ears to be honest and I quit listening to it. They stumble over their words. I highly recommend to look for other podcasts -...Read full review »

I wish the cases were told a little more straight forward-hard to follow the wandering story telling. I’ve tried to listen a few times but just can’t get into it.

Ricky, the “Sing-Song” comment, was not lost on me, I saw the reviews! When you said that during the “Twisted Jealousy” episode, I actually did LOL!!…”Haters”, do not let them get you down!! You two are AWESOME and I’ll forever be a fan!! ❤️, Kelly

You guys are one of my favourite podcasts. I save your podcasts for my “special time” when I’m walking my dog. I pop in my AirPods & press play & Star (my dog) loves her 45 mins walks. Ricky is funny & Ashley is extremely well researched. I have paid for the Apple Subscription &...Read full review »

The male’s sing song voice is kind of annoying.

I absolutely love Crime Salad. Ashley’s storytelling is engaging, expressive, empathetic, articulate, and so beautifully delivered…. I listen all day in a tractor, all summer. I had written a year ago my disappointment in Ricky’s voice and delivery, and I now acknowledge the positive changes...Read full review »

I just found this podcast last week and I’ve been binging all the previous seasons . I love it. Great ethical crime story telling and most of the episodes are perfect length to listen to. Everyone should check them out.

Glad the episodes are short because that’s all the Ricky I could take. He’s so silly and well dumb sounding. I like this show better in the beginning and just occasionally listen now. Also you both pronounce so many words incorrectly it’s cringe worthy .

Ashley and Ricky are amazing! They tell the stories very factually and detailed and they get right to the story and they are adorable to listen to together. This is the best true crime podcast out there. I love the chemistry between Ashley and Ricky. The way Ashley tells each story is phenomenal. 100% recommend.

Ashley, your voice is so captivating. I love the vibe you bring. Great details, and clear story telling.

Love the show but the episodes are entirely too short. Most true crime shows are at least 40-50 minutes.

Obsessed with this podcast- have been binging it to get all the episodes in. I love the short form and the cases they cover. Highly recommend for true crime lovers

I appreciate all the work that gets put into the cases you guys cover. The way Ashely can tell a case and be precise in certain details that help understand what’s going on. Love the two voices and their fantastically researched obscure stories. One of the best podcasts I’ve listened to and I listen to most of them. Great job both of you. I’m going to become a patreon.

Very little respect for victims and the families. Gross

One of my favorite podcasts. I love how they tell the story. My favorite part is they get right to the story! Not a bunch of chatting about none sense like most other True Crime podcasts!

The victim’s stories are always told with respect. Light humor, NEVER directed towards victims or the victims families. Ashley and Ricky make a good team i’ve been listening for over a year

Stop talking about your selves so much …that’s not why people listen to crime podcasts …keep it professional! Also have respect for the murder victims …no joking and dumb comments ….Rickys Comments are just very dumb …and add nothing …

I want to listen but the unnecessary music is driving me crazy. I believe that I would like your podcast if you stop with the annoying loud music. Stop with the music and I will rewrite my review.

Such great chemistry between these two:) I look forward to new releases and appreciate the respect they show to the victims of the cases they cover. Love, love, love the humor that lightens the severity of the situations and that it is appropriately directed at the perpetrators.

Not well researched, and when they make a mistake, they don’t mention it in a subsequent episode. For example, there has been a woman put to death in the last 70 years, her name is Aileen Wuornos.
