Thank you for presenting such an important issue in our society. Thank you for being open about your mental health journeys and Rickey your honesty about being bullied and being the bully. I think it is helpful to realise that not all bullies are bad people but they too are suffering in some way....Read full review »

Please stop using the terminology “Real Parents” or “Real Children.” To imply that a child or parent isn’t “real” is kind of gross and condescending. The word biological is the most appropriate. Know better, do better.

Crime salad was the podcast that STARTED IT ALL! This pod was the very first podcast i have ever listened to, and had since never stopped This podcast sticks out for they focus and bring honour to the victims when sharing their story. So the episodes say that they’re 45 minute episode with ads, I tried the free trial ad free and it cut down episode time to 20 minutes, some episodes are less than 20 minutes, the stories are done so slow I’m listening at 1.25x so that takes off a few more minutes, so really these episodes are...Read full review »

Keep up the good work. Well researched and interesting. Keeps me going while I’m walking my two toddlers for their nap. I like the length of the pods as it means you can listen to an entire episode in one chunk.

I am addicted to this podcast, I was trying to find new podcasters and found this one. I love it all and listen to it all the time. Took me only a day to subscribe. I see complaints about the ads…it’s $20 bucks for a year for no ads? Just subscribe it’s worth it.

New
Started listening due to recommendations from a cousin of Ricky. Obsessed is an understatement. Thanks for providing real audio. Makes the episodes so much more realistic. Can’t wait to listen to all the episodes.

I absolutely love this podcast. But the poor grammar drives me nuts. Not a deal breaker. Would recommend. EDIT - commercial breaks have become way too frequent. These could easily be played as a group, maybe twice per episode. Instead, they are played a couple ads at a time very frequently.

I’m new to this podcast. I enjoy the podcast but I’m sure I can subscribe if the ads continue the way they do. On the latest episode an ad was played again after just a minute or two of the podcast. An ad every five minutes us making this unlistenable

This was a great podcast, but now there is an about every 8 minutes. I get that they need to make money, but this is too much

Loved this podcast but it has way too many ads now.

You do a wonderful job with info. Your voice is very calm and soothing. My only question is… can you condense the sponsorship commercials? It is a bit intrusive to have a sponsor every 6 min or so. Do like 3 at once and give us a longer content time. Thank you Good work!!!

This podcast will grasp your attention and keep you wanting more. I love how they get right into the story and provide all of the information. It keeps me entertained during work etc, and I really enjoy listening. Thank you for respecting the victims and their families. This podcast is the best!

Crime Salad use to be one of my most favorite podcasts, like in my top 5, go to podcast, can’t wait to listen to the newest one, podcast. However, the amount of commercials is bonkers. Not only the amount, it’s the way they go about it, it seems sneaky in my personal opinion. There’s no...Read full review »

Her voice is really my favorite out of all of the podcasts I listen to. Great banter, not annoying like some other pods that do the same with husband wife pairs. Great choices in cases. All around a solid choice to subscribe to.

I appreciate the hosts sensitivity towards the victims as they tell the story. There has been some growing pains as they became more experienced podcasters, but I think some people are too harsh. Everyone starts as a beginner. Give them a break. I liked hearing their growth and how they have...Read full review »

It’s gotten to the point where I find myself cringing at multiple points throughout the episodes. I love this podcast so much! I don’t get bored and you guys wrap me in with every episode. Please stop spreading the adverts so often. Is there a reason you can’t group them together a little more? Off putting. Can’t listen to an ep now without feeling frustrated. Other podcasters can do it. Why not you guys?

I’ve been a long time listener but just can’t do it anymore. The stories used to be told very well and with thought. They typically left their opinions and comments towards the end of the episode but now they talk details to death or what they think about a situation or person. It’s almost like...Read full review »

A lot of their “facts” are proven false. Do better. Also the ads are so bad it is impossible to get into their stories

I’m pretty picky when it comes to podcasts, as I don’t like a lot of banter, but Ashley and Ricky have a decent balance. I appreciate the clear respect that they have for the victims in these cases

What’s the point of the random music? Its more of a distraction. Just tell the case! An ad every 3-4 minutes is so off putting.

That mother didn’t protect her daughter. She came off suspicious to me. She never seemed worried or show emotion about her daughter. That monster of a boyfriend deserves the worse!

Love this show, but hearing these excuses and really the sympathy for Madeline Soto’s mother is sickening. Every danger that may come to our kids can’t be predicted, but this was 100% preventable by the person that was supposed to protect her. She’s just as responsible as he is. Both parties in the podcast read very well so the story flows so much better when they stick to the script and don’t ramble on. The man seems like a yes guy, and doesn’t really add any substance to the dialogue when he goes off script. The music inserted in random places is disjointed and...Read full review »

Interesting content and I like the show but way too many ads, like every 3-4 minutes. I understand this funds the show but it’s so excessive compared to other podcasts.

I want to like this podcast. You both seem like lovely people. However, it’s unlistenable due to the amount of ADS. More than I’ve seen on any podcast ever. Seems like revenue has become more important than the actual stories.

I like Ricky unscripted. I also love that you two keep trying to progress and still keep the story telling respectful. Keep up the good work. SN: Giving a show a one star review for ads they can’t control is weird, entitled people.
