“....that’s the word used multiple times in ONE lengthy sentence of the Kelly-Anne Bates episode. The female host of this show says James, the victim’s “boyfriend”, told Kelly-Anne’s parents that he was 32; this is never clarified or explained. A quick google search shows that James was actually THIRTY YEARS OLDER than the victim. The “research” is shoddy at best. There are seriously only two sources listed for a 20 minute podcast? This show sounds like two middle-schoolers trying to meet a minimum word count, or “change” text they read online by adding a lot of “very”s and “really”s and “seriously”s. And what even is the point of this story? To tell us the gory details of crimes committed against a teenager? To tell us your unnecessarily wordy opinion of these crimes? We get it; they are really, really, super, duper terribly terrible crimes. There was no mystery surrounding the perpetrator of the crime, no manhunt, nothing to solve, and you have NO details about the offender’s childhood or current status. Again, what is the point of this podcast?”
