Sensationalistic
I feel for the couple who was drugged, but overall, the hosts are so dramatic in being “chased” and “watched.” They said themselves that you know what you’re getting in to when you leave the actual fairgrounds and go to the campgrounds. This podcast is reaching for drama that isn’t there, so they are making it up. I’ve attended the festival since I was five years old, and it’s a fun time.

More reviews of Crime Waves: Cold Truth
A really compelling and thoughtfully-investigated story that should appeal to history fans as much as true crime fans. Beautiful, polished presentation (especially the music and sound design) is a plus!

Six episodes in and I’m riveted. The writing is great, and the host feels like your one friend at the bar who always tells the weirdest stories. I’ve heard rumors about this ren fair, but this is wild.
