Description
Bláthnaid Raleigh was just 21 when her life changed forever after a night out ended in a terrifying aggravated rape carried out by a young rugby player who she knew from her local town. When Johnathan ‘Johnny’ Moran was found guilty of the attack she waived her anonymity so that he could be named and that she could speak out for other women. Blathnaid talks to Nicola about a night of darkness that has seen her become a powerful advocate to help break silence and shame around sexual assaults. This episode contains graphic descriptions of rape and sexual assault. Anyone affected by these issues can contact the Rape Crises Centre on 1800778888. Hosted on Acast.
