Keep up your calling out of the far right tropes and false narrative around immigration- so many seem to be afraid to do this because of the backlash online, thank you! Julie Cork

The episode with Trina O Connor was your best so far. The women speaks so much sense- showing the root causes of the issues that arise in adulthood and end up costing the state millions, where as if they address them at childhood we could save so much headache and heartache. Maybe not the most...Read full review »

Living in the South of England, it’s a fascinating listen to see how things are in Dublin and further afield, the cartels reach has no bounds. The podcast is Informative and very well presented and keeps me entertained for hours in my lorry.

Grating tick of Nicola’s is her fixation on ppls appearance.

The recent glamorisation of horrific rape and assault of a women is very disappointing and disrespectful for the female victim- please stick to the factual evidence

Shoutout from the UK Love listening to you both especially Nicole, who knew that Ireland had such a criminal under belly. When are you bringing your show to the Uk? I can’t wait to visit Ireland 😀

Some good podcast,it can be a bit “north Dublin” bashing. When a gang from south Dublin are mentioned they say “Dublin” but quick enough to put “north Dublin “in front of an area.

Slagging “ remedial maths” isn’t funny. Stick to the crime content.

The best podcast of all. Intelligent, fair, natural, articulate and expressive. I love listening to Nicola and her guests. It was very very annoying to listen to John Kierans talking over Nicola today. I wish he could have listened to her 😥
cho-colette via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 08/28/23
I usually really like Nicola and find her very informative and interesting but Niall has done a recent podcast where it was clear he had a particular agenda and did not do any research apart from pushing his own view which is really disappointing and was actually inaccurate in some of what he said.

Great double act journalists who actually know what they’re talking about.

It’s such an informative crime show full of info you won’t get anywhere else. Nicola and Niall’s banter is admirable! Keep up the great work guys

Love the show but would suggest giving an overview of the case at the start because some episodes the listener hasn’t any knowledge of it and it’s like a guessing game. Eg: The Barbie and Ken episode, didn’t know how many people they killed etc. You’d need to google it first before listening to...Read full review »

I guess the tipping point has been reached where organised crime in mainland Europe is better organised, well resourced, indifferent to moves by government judicial systems….

I listen to learn and to be more informed. I’m sure if the journalists wrote “you know” every time they started to write and submit it to their editors, they’d be fired. Some journalists need to prepare better for interviews, if “I knew” then I wouldn’t have to listen,

Love the pods and the chat between the journalists is always hilarious too. A great mix when tuning in!

A truly insightful episode with Professor Colin O’Gara touching on the reality of addiction in Ireland. Overall this is a great podcast. I think Nicola does a great job at avoiding the glamorisation of Irish drug gangs.

Great podcast guys.....fascinating to listen and hear other perspectives on modern day Ireland and life. Great journalists involved with these stories. Particularly enjoy Nicola’s story telling episodes (two parter) in early Jan 2022…..!! Cannot wait to see Omertà in Galway in May 2023.

Love the show, Nicola. There’s surely no greater authority on the Kinahan cartel and the show has thoroughly explored the group’s rise and fall. The podcast specialises on Ireland’s drugs scene which, as a true crime fan, I find compelling. My one caveat is that Nicola seldom (ever?) debates the...Read full review »

I look forward every evening to hearing the latest upload. Great banter too between Nicola & Niall. Best True crime podcast. Agree with previous reviewer re the American guest. Its very hard to listen to him saying ‘you know’ so so often. A real turn off.
