In the second part of our reporting on Day 9 of the case against Conor McGregor and his friend James Lawrence who are accused of rape we hear the closing statements given on behalf of the plaintiff Nikita Hand who says she was raped by both men in a Dublin hotel in 2018. Both have denied the allegations and said they had consensual sex with her. The jury will be directed today by Justice Alexander Owens who has indicated that they will have two questions to answer by a civil balance of probability and that they will have a number of different compensation options available should they find in her favour.
