Has potential but the psychology class is annoying
The stories are interesting. I don't have any issues with the narrator at all. I hate narrators that constantly stumble over their words or ummm a lot, so in this respect I'm pleased with the show. The writing is good. I just cringe each time the storytelling is basically "put on pause" to give us a reference by Dr. so and so or the National Institutes of Health. If it was something a psychologist had said about the individuals in the story that would be one thing, but it's a side lesson in borderline personality disorder or narcissism in general and it ruins the flow of the story. I find myself getting annoyed by how many of these interruptions there are and pausing the podcast.Read full review »

Looks like this should be a pretty twisted one... my kind of thing.

this is a great idea, and I wanted to love it. BUT I’m not a fan of the host. It sounds like she’s reading from a script. It’s just not worth it when there are so many other podcasts out there that do true crime. Sorry

As others have noted the narrator has a very sing-song robotic voice. It is like Siri reading to you for 45 minutes. At first I thought I could ignore it but it was too annoying. Well written and researched so it’s a shame they don’t have a different reader
