I hate iTunes, but I love this podcast!
The second real-play gaming podcast I've ever listened to, GM Veronica does a fantastic job setting the tone for her players' Call of Cthulhu adventures. Much darker and more RP-driven than most D&D adventures, this show will have you crying in fear, tearing from laughter, cringing in terror and mourning the fallen (and there WILL be fallen) all within the course of a single episode. The series begins with two of the player characters meeting over a fateful ladder, from which point things only seem to go downhill. From seemingly-mindless villagers to creepy little girls to Elder Gods, season 1 is quite the emotional roller coaster ride. Fair warning: The transition into season 2 can feel a bit jarring. The significant change of music and setting put me off a little bit (I'm not a big fan of Dubstep) but trust me, sticking it out is far more rewarding than giving this podcast up as the characters and story quickly get right back down to the business of creeping out and entertaining listeners. Give this a download and listen to it straight through. You* won't regret it. *Your stomach might regret it at times. Veronica can be VERY graphic in her descriptions.Read full review »

For the love of shoggoth and all that is unholy, you need to listen to this podcast! All jokes aside, this show is quite wonderful. It's essentially a radio drama where the plot twists and big decision points the characters and game master make are decided by dice rolls. So much fun. Highly...Read full review »

My son told us we'd enjoy this creepy drama and he wasn't wrong! We never know what's going to happen next, and then they jumped into the future! Very exciting!Read full review »
