As someone who's listened to a fair share of them, believe me when I say this one is well worth your time. Starring a cast with a brand new player and more seasoned RPG veterans, Cthulhu and Friends invites you along on an investigation that will test the limits of the characters' endurance, not to mention their sanity.
With an eye towards higher production efforts than the usual actual play and a deviously inventive keeper at the wheel, this podcast makes for a reliably riveting listen that will have you hooked in no time. The plot twists, both from the GM's fiendish world building and the uncontrollable randomness of player actions and dice rolls will leave you on the floor, by turns from utter shock and unstoppable fits of laughter.
Along the way a lot of fun is had and some alcohol is consumed. Adult themes of the typical Cthulhu game aside, this is certainly not a podcast for the whole family. Nonetheless it wins my wholehearted recommendation.”Read full review »
