When I first listened to the Cultural Podcast a couple of years ago, I found it really disappointing, and as many reviewers have noted, it was not even close to its political cousin. However, I recently downloaded an episode after quite a long time, and found it refreshing, entertaining and funny. Usual format is to choose 3 current topics/events/people in "culture" (broadly defined, usually NY-based), do a little homework the night before, and chat about each topic for 10 minutes.
