“I can definitely appreciate the value of the journalism I encountered in the magazines that arrived in my mailbox. But in the Podcast, and in various places in the magazine itself, the editorial staff falls into the culture war dynamics of defining themselves relative to other journalistic hubs, and thereby reinforce the polarity of America’s political spectrum. It was not the open exchange and discourse I had hoped for, sadly.”
