“I really appreciate these interviews! This show fills in a lot of gaps in information you might not get from anywhere else. That being said, I really wish they would invest in better quality audio equipment. Nathan often sounds like he’s yelling in comparison to his guests. It’s honestly...”Read full review »

“It’s really hard for me to listen to episodes encouraging people to start a union when the editor-in-chief fired five staff members for organizing. Intellectually the content is rich, but “do as I say, not as I do” doesn’t make for the type of podcast I’d ever support financially.”

“Current Affairs and its founder - Nathan J Robinson - are a refreshing break from partisan bickering.
If you’ve realized that even ‘your side,’ be it right or left, has some pretty dumb ideas, I bet you’ll appreciate Robinson’s analysis and critique. And the guests are equally...”Read full review »

“I used to read and share Nathan’s writing enthusiastically, but since he forced the resignation of his staff for attempting to organize a worker’s co-op, he’s lost all credibility in my eyes. How can his publication claim they support workplace action with a straight face? Every workplace except...”Read full review »

“Why is NJR treating Elizabeth Holmes, Fyre, etc like big revelations? They’ve both been covered by major documentaries. Holmes has two docs and a podcast and now bio pic. These are not in fact Current Affairs they’ve been covered to death.”

“This was a fun podcast that I listened to religiously. The content was great and the hosts were engaging. But none of it means anything if NJR effectively disbands the magazine when they try to democratize it. It would have been even better as a co-op. “Pete Davis: legend. Nathan J Robinson: legend. The rest have their moments.
