“So heard the news that Dane was fired. Given that he was one of my favorite people on the pod — the others being Abby & James — I am sad & the pod (as well as the magazine) is far the less for it. I’m especially puzzled because now we have had new people - Kit, Johnny (?) — instead. Why? Dane was great and actually was knowledgeable & liked road racing. So ugh.
I used to like Caley but over the years, he seems to just dislike road racing & just be endlessly snarky.”
