“I've been listening to the fanatic podcasts for several years now. In expanding the number of podcasts it has definitely diluted the quality, but there are definitely some gems.
1. The Blum and Williams specials are must listens. Always great stories.
2. The seniors are a great weekly review for any cyclone fan.
3. On the Trail is okay, but only necessary for recruiting juniors.
4. I do like the FAWcast quite a bit. A lot of humor with a Cyclone slant.
5. The Jeff Woody show is amazing as a video but it doesn't really work at all as a Podcast.
6. The Cyclone Fanatic Radio Show is only worth listening to for the first segment. The rest is just sponsors and picks. I don't know why Fanatic is so obsessed with picks. It seems like every time you turnaround, somebody is making picks that don't matter.
7. Barely Audible is exactly that. Horrible. Woody does a decent job of trying to keep the show listenable, while Spears comes off as smug and not likable. As much as I love Arnaud as a Cyclone, he just screams into the microphone and seems like a degenerate gambler these days.”Read full review »
