“The 2 most accurate, challenging preachers that I've ever heard are Dr. James MacDonald (Walk In The Word) and Dr. Charles Stanley (In Touch Ministries). Both are available as podcasts and WELL WORTH your time!
Dr. Stanley has a solid, Biblically accurate, no nonsense style. This is not a preacher who lets your mind wander. He moves at a good pace, is brief, and to-the-point. I could describe his preaching style as "economic yet gripping". He doesn't waste even one sentence in his messages. Every sentence is relevent, necessary, and contains information that you need to hear. If you want the solid, accurate Truth from the Word of God without unnecessary anecdotes or pious jaron, this is the podcast for you. If you have ever been really close to God to a point that you have walked with God daily and really understand what it means to 'pray without ceasing' then you will quickly realize that Dr Stanley has been there too. He is without a doubt one of the most Biblically accurate teachers of the Word. If you WANT to walk with God and 'pray without ceasing' then his messages will help you learn the way to do that. I like to refer to it as 'the mechanics of Faith'...The how-to of the Christian life.
