Top Shelf History
It takes time for anyone to paint you a re-creation of an event in our history that text books, alone, do not contain everything a person needs to know in order to paint that image within their brain. A woman I once worked with in the 1980s described to me her experience of the ‘62 missile crisis like this, “our teacher sent us home to die with our families instead of here at school.” Nowhere have I read what she described to me in detail events of that day until now. Today her fear & truth has been confirmed after listening to this podcast.

This is an excellent show to listen to. It is obvious Carlin enjoys talking about history. He comparisons are apt and help give a clear vision of the subject.
