Dark Downeast, a true crime based series of stories taken place in Maine, is proof behind my statement. With each episode being the perfect amount of time for me to squeeze in on my daily commutes, you truly don’t want the story to end. Kylie jumps right into the thick of a well researched, deep, descriptive plot. Paying very close attention to all of the small detail, all whilst giving gentle respect to these tragic cold cases and the family & communities involved. As a true crime junkie myself, and a Maine girl through and through, this podcast has already jumped to the top of my list! But wait, there’s more... Just when you have felt mind blown & bewildered at the end of each episode, it doesn’t end there. Prepare yourself to be schooled on a classic Maine “did you know?” Fact! After all, you never know when you might be quizzed ☺️”
