ackley house
i just finished the episode on ackley house I heard about the part where one of the daughters who lived in the house had told her mother about her bed shaking just before her alarm went off, I was shook. I’ve never heard that happen to anyone else before. My first experience with a ghost at an age where I can remember, that happened to me. I was around 6 and i decided it was a good idea to sleep in my basement because we had a family room down there with one of those old box tvs and didn’t have a TV anywhere else at the time in the house. I loved to sleep with the TV on. I fell asleep shortly after going down there but i woke up to the tv being on but not on any channel, just static. That was the first thing I noticed, but then through the corner of my eye I saw something across the coffee table that I couldn’t fully see, it was a tall figure fully standing like over me? It had no features, it was just a black apparatus there. It also felt very mad, the vibe was definitely not welcoming. I literally was just so scared I put my head under my blankets and waited and waited. It felt like forever, I looked back up eventually and nothing was there but then the couch started to violently shake. Not like a playful shake, like someone was trying to hurt me and scare me. I screamed and sprinted upstairs which woke my grandma up and I never went back in that basement alone. It’s neat to hear that there was a reporting of this happening to someone else. I can’t say whether or not my mind as a child was more active or not but it felt very real. And I truly believe it did happen. I love this podcast soo much, and I appreciate how you both have many different perspectives on any story that is told to you and not just one opinion on it. The rapport between you guys is amazing! Please never stop this podcast. 🤍

More reviews of Dark House
Listened to first two episodes. First one was good. Second one was like listening to two stoned airheads. The overuse of the word ‘like’ makes them sound so vapid. The wild assumptions about drugging chickens & horses…ridiculous.
