Great episode on the Jean Harlow story
Just found your Dark House podcast through a New York Times article today. The Jean Harlow episode was truly great and I’ve subscribed to your show. I’ve always believed that interior spaces leave residual traces of the people and events that have taken place in them and your program does a great job investigating those theories. The whole Harlow thing with the Hollywood system covering up stuff is truly wild. Not sure if you want to look into this but since you brought up Sharon Tate, you might want to look into what happened to her and her director husband in the aftermath. There is a guy called nikolas shreck who has some amazing theories of Hollywood exes covering up what happened at their rented house. Don’t know the history of that home but maybe worth looking into for a future podcast? Look forward to future episodes. J.

Very interested in the subject matter, however, the person telling the story had no rhythm nor flow, and the use of the word "like" inserted after every couple of words was so annoying that it took me right out of the story. Couldn't listen any longer, unfortunately.Read full review »

It was annoying to listen to the Iowa Villisca House episode. I suggest the hosts (that promote themselves as interior design editors) do more research on homes of the period and just history in general of how people lived in that area at the time so less ignorant comments are made.
