“I love all of Tony & Jen's podcasts--Real Ghost Stories Online, The Grave Talks and Office Horror Stories. I'll be honest--I was hesitant to listen to this one, since I'm not a big fan of true crime or gory serial killer stories. HOWEVER...I gave it a try, since I trust this amazing podcast team to always put out a quality show. And you know what? I LOVE it. The conversations that Tony, Carol and Jen have around these horrifying moments from history is what makes this so fascinating, and yes, fun, to listen to. After reading portions of the Wikipedia entry about various dark moments, Tony has a candid discussion with his cohost; and they totally say EXACTLY what you were thinking while hearing the details of each morbid moment. Their ability to keep a sense of humor even about disturbing things keeps a good balance of dark and light, and makes the show highly enjoyable. I laughed out loud when Tony called a boat captain (who has been dead for over 100 years) an a$$hole for jumping ship...it's a refreshing take on history and a great listen!”Read full review »
