Interesting plot mixed execution
The plot is really cool! The over arcing narrative of what is happening with the cyclops experiment is very interesting! However the individual episodes are very hit or miss. In terms of execution the binaural audio is awesome and the audio is super clean and defined. Most of the voice acting is super good but some is a touch over done. The mix of non-diegetic narration with diegetic sound and dialogue is jarring and messy, and isn’t helped by the over-explained dialogue of what is visually happening, or what characters are thinking or feeling at certain moments. Dialogue seems unnatural and stilted in many places and it feels like as an audience we can’t be trusted to make assumptions about how people feel or what they are doing without the audio telling us those things. Also there’s a random song in the second episode? Interesting experience overall

I love Lee's voice! It is my best bed time story recently! I use to listen ASMRs which also same effect interesting. Put ur earphone on, they are talking next to you! Wish Lee could do more voice books.Read full review »
