Fascinating insights!
Love this podcast - having been brought up in the church I’ve heard “the story of the bible” reduced to a very simple sewn up linear narrative. The truth is in fact a lot more complex, nuanced and problematic for those who would like the bible to be a neatly packaged coherent manual for life. This podcast is a breath of fresh air - it takes an honest, balanced look at the history of how these texts came to be and the resulting implications for us who, regardless of faith background, are still influenced by the bible thousands of years later.
