The host takes on a “how outlandish people can be believing this stuff” and the author doesn’t put up many references and gives a “trust me, I’m right and all others are wrong” kind of discussion. I agree that early scholars may have taken some liberty in translation but seem to tell similar and consistent translation but this author has figured it out. I need a bit more than just taking your word for it. One of his guests was his dissertation supervisor. No indication of peer review and if so not indication where they come from.
