“Just a good, thorough, humorous book club style podcast. Three things that annoy me:
- They go from having kept up to date on the most obscure pieces of lore, to being totally oblivious to very well-established lore. They reference westeros.org constantly, where the answers to many of the details that confuse them can be easily found.
- Brooke mispronouncing everything. Not just names from the story, but real english words.
- Brooke constantly complaining that GRRM's dystopian medieval world does not have enlightened values about women. Westeros is supposed to be backward in their views.”Read full review »
