Technically and narratively excellent
Highly recommend. The story and topics covered by this podcast are well researched and expertly presented to the listener. The script is not overworked, allowing for the real-life events to speak for themselves. The narrator also doesn’t find the need to insert herself into the piece, a common failing of many podcasts. I very much enjoyed the original music design. It doesn’t overshadow or overdramatise the story but adds atmosphere. I hope this is the first in a series from the NYT. The is most certainly coming from inside the house.

The podcast is incredible - great story, great reporting and production. My only pet peeve is the huge amount of time between releases of new episodes. Appreciate you want to keep the suspense, but one week is too long. Couldn’t you release then in shorter intervals?

A fascinating series of insights, woven into a chilling and coherent lesson for all democracies. This reporting is so important. And what a soundtrack!!!

Excellent reporting. An unnerving unearthing of ignored behavior and where that road may inevitably lead.
