The script is not overworked, allowing for the real-life events to speak for themselves. The narrator also doesn’t find the need to insert herself into the piece, a common failing of many podcasts. I very much enjoyed the original music design. It doesn’t overshadow or overdramatise the story but adds atmosphere. I hope this is the first in a series from the NYT.
