Topic selection and research is very good.

Earlier the podcast was pretty focused on the topics but now there is a lot of casual and illogical conversations about random topics and sponsored content. Also the hosts sound very young and immature.

Come on, daybreak is going downhill with the recent quality of podcast. We don’t want to know what movie you are watching or what you ate. Becoming border line corporate cringe.

I often spend my early mornings running through the streets of Mumbai, which leaves me with little time to read the newspapers. That's why this podcast is my go-to for staying updated on current affairs—it’s unlike any other. I’m a huge fan of four podcasts: The Daybreak, The Print, Signal...Read full review »

Quality vs quantity problem.

It was engaging but had less info which I was seeking . The outro music is also not good , it’s sort of disturbing when you are hearing the podcast using a headphone .

High quality and much needed journalism in India. Thanks!

The annoying coffeemug mixing song is outright disturbing. Pl drink your coffee earlier or later after the episode. Also the discussed topic is not even enough to enunciate curiosity, its plain disturbing. Especially the recent episode regards digiyatra is pretty bad

The music takes over the majority portion if the news . And there is no in depth coverage.

Media podcasts are subpar- compared to the research on other verticals. They rely on anecdotal information from employees, rather than a view on the industry and consumer. The mispronunciation of Sony Liv was incredibly jarring.

Out of the roughly twelve minutes of the podcast, almost two minutes are taken up by the music and intro. That is too much time given to something the listener isn't interested in. Segments are good, but it leads to repetition. Some smart editing is required to cut out repeating the same points.Read full review »

Research needs to be more detailed and stop for musics need to be decreased.

Expected better from Ken. Two issues: A) Show notes are missing - no research is done before publishing. Its just the same sensational news from ET with no fact check or linking to news source. B) Too much unneeded music in between. The 10-12 minutes has repetitive content with same sentences...Read full review »

One of the best podcast ever
Chits51 via Apple Podcasts · India · 02/26/23
The content is good but subpar compared to The Ken’s other podcasts. Just in one episode there are multiple stoppages (long non useful intro music, ad of other podcasts etc ). This was quite a distraction
