Brilliant, insightful, and intense
I’ve been listening to this on and off over the past year, and found it extremely interesting as a journalism student at the time of writing (April 2024). Local Politics is something I find to always get overshadowed by the larger political conversations - the same way in the UK as the US, I find. But John Sheridan and his wife were killed in such a horrible manner that it forces us to shine a light on the lesser discussed parts of local politics. I can only hope their killers are put to justice! Nancy Solomon is a brilliant host, and takes us along a ride in an almost beautiful tapestry of audio snippets, monologue and music. Amazing stuff from WNYC!

Love this ‘live’ journalism. I honestly can’t wait for Season 2. How long? 🙏

Nancy Soloman’s reporting is amazing. I’ve lived in NJ for 30 years and had no idea how corrupt it really is. Very sad that this family had to follow into the clutches of such evil.

It’s got it all - the characters, the mistakes, politics, family drama, neighbors who may have seen something … can’t wait for more.
