“I’ve been listening to this on and off over the past year, and found it extremely interesting as a journalism student at the time of writing (April 2024). Local Politics is something I find to always get overshadowed by the larger political conversations - the same way in the UK as the US, I find. But John Sheridan and his wife were killed in such a horrible manner that it forces us to shine a light on the lesser discussed parts of local politics. I can only hope their killers are put to justice!
Nancy Solomon is a brilliant host, and takes us along a ride in an almost beautiful tapestry of audio snippets, monologue and music. Amazing stuff from WNYC!”
