Unredeemed, but not unredeemable
As many others have said, let's get this out of the way: the Hodgman episode is good. The concept is rich. Beyond that, it's pretty bad and lacking, with some awful valleys of "whoops this sounds like it was written during the McCarthy era in the worst way possible." Episode Zero was written by one of the hosts, and the story is fundamentally built around bisexual erasure. There's some other episodes with similar moments that are totally unaware at best, humorlessly hurtful at worst. Plus, the intro sound is typically bad, and some of the readings are recorded poorly as well. If the hosts earnestly work to acknowledge and fix these pitfalls, I'd be excited to listen. 'Til then, count me out.Read full review »

I've loved the first three episodes of this show. TV doesn't take enough risks to stretch the medium and it's wonderful to hear these scripts read aloud. I look forward to future installments.Read full review »

If you like TV and Comedy you'll love this. It's live table reads of some really great scripts by some really great casts. It's awesome, just try it, you'll like it.Read full review »
