“Because I’m going to have to keep listening. This is by far one of the most interesting stories I’ve run into in a recent podcast, but the narration and story telling really takes away from it. I’m six episodes in and so far we know the exact same information we knew in the first episode. All of that could be forgiven if it wasn’t for the sound quality of the phone calls, that often are played for 3-5 minutes of time. They’re crackly, quiet and nearly impossible to make out, which means you’re missing any information you might actually get. I do know a lot about the host’s “brave trip to buffalo” on a whim and how much it took over their life - they mention it every episode more than once. Please just focus on the story and actually move things forward.”
