All the voice actors were superb. Great story and kept me guessing until the end. The only complaint I have is how heavy handed the handling of the same sex relationship was. I get wanting to preach tolerance, but it wasn’t realistic of the time period and it was distracting with how many times...Read full review »

Really good 👍😀

While it’s campy tone is sometimes fun, it reads lame at other times. I get that this is intentioned to be over-the-top however, the story is beyond ridic. Lavar Burton however, is fantastic.

This series was a whirlwind of mystery and comic relief ! I was fully immersed from episode one Hope to hear more from this crew !!!

Uneven audio levels

Never listened to one of these before willingly but decided to give it a go while going to visit my long distance boyfriend. Passes the time but soemtimes ran a bit slow and ending was kinda like 😐. Rupaul added a pretty funny tone to it though and Kristen bell was the perfect voice slay gossip girl

Great voice acting, humorous and an intriguing plot! Binged it in one evening…perfect for rainy autumn days.
Lara Blabla via Apple Podcasts · Germany · 10/17/22
Great mystery that calls back to a bunch of classic mysteries all the while putting something new out there.
acme146 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 10/05/22
Modern speech, sentiments, and political beliefs rolled into poorly contextualized 1950’s setting. Other than Kristen Bell and Rue Paul, the acting was just terrible and the strory was so disappointing. Skip this and go watch Clue or the new Bodies, Bodies, Bodies.
KBlake88 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/25/22
I couldn’t make it past the first episode. And the racism was unnecessary.
Anapinkvanilla via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/23/22
Oh this was so much fun! It would be amazing if you could do another series… pretty please?!

We need a season 2 #enoughsaid

At first this gave me Agatha Christie vibes, and then I figured that she would have written this under a concussion. Idk what this is; the conversation is RIDICULOUS! Dead bodies laying around everywhere and the party is still going? Why tf didnt they just gather in one room and wait for the...Read full review »

A little late to the party. I heard the first snippet on Rupaul’s What’s the tee?! Just what’s needed on long journeys to and from work! Love the drama! Definitely kept me entertained!!

I love the story and the characters are outstanding! I am hoping there will be a Season 2!
mommaswann71 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/23/21
I’m really hoping there is a season two.

(Spoiler alert) Great if somewhat cheesy old school murder mystery. So my kids are super into murder mysteries and can handle adult themes (they loved Knives Out) so I thought this would be a great one for some long car rides we had. And it was solidly PG until about six episodes in when...Read full review »

The voice acting and production is amazing but the writing and story and ending is just bad
Globbsss via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/10/21
With such a great compilation of talent, how can you go wrong?!? I was laughing out loud by myself at the comedic slant (butler who appears from nowhere, the actor, ect) Then there’s the plot - I was glued. The surround sound was so clear, it had me jumping around like a nut. LOL. Thank you...Read full review »

Why was this so goody goody good Like I’m seriously so mad season one is over and yes I listened over Serious just so freakishly good
alinmyhead via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/21/21
The setting is great and the cast does a good job, but the passive way the events unfold it’s both unsatisfying and annoying, not really what you expect from a murder mystery
Criizmeow via Apple Podcasts · Ecuador · 02/09/21
I don’t know how I missed this when it came out. The Voice Actors are HUGE STARS ! It was such a kookie cast and crazier story. NO SPOILERS HERE but it kept me guessing until the end. It was NOT who I thought it would be! I want MORE! I wish there were more podcasts like this one !
Tante143 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/19/21
In all of my guessing I totally got it wrong! Great job! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
TrulyBlessed23 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/11/21
**spoiler alert** I got through 6 episodes of people complaining about being hungry and out-of-time-period phrases(I’m looking at you, “hot mess.”) just to have the fortune-teller return to be murdered in front of the entire cast of lame characters. I don’t even care about the ending.

This reminds me so much of the movie ‘Clue’. Anyone agree?

Really enjoyed listening to this wild, old school murder mystery!

I had such a great adventure listening to this series when it first came out and was yearning for another series to stir my imagination with such a talented cast!! Sadly nothing could rival this. So I listened all over again and fell in love again. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻please bring another season!

The use of LeVar burton as narrator is amazing and all the other voice actors are wonderful.
Raven Lotz via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 10/18/20
I listened to the first 2.5 episodes and it was too cheesy and not interesting enough to continue. Character development was drawn out and too campy but not enough to be funny. I ended up listening to the final episode a few days later ... would recommend doing that just for the bizarre twist, so...Read full review »

Would have put 0 stars if I was able to. Some of these actors should be ashamed to have their names attached to this. Listened to 2 eps to give it a chance and regret that hour of my life wasted.
Jimi the Blaze via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 09/24/20
Listened to the whole series twice - really well done. Wickedly funny and smart. And a good mystery, to boot! Two thumbs (and five stars) up!
the.real.mah via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/21/20
I loathe to give podcasts negative reviews, but I keep seeing this as a “top” podcast despite being terribly written and grossly overacted. The twists are bad, the characters are bad. Give this a pass and go watch Clue (1985).

Wow
Very entertaining! Would recommend.

Couldn’t get through the first episode. They were all partying, eating, and drinking. They attended parties together for years. Then someone gets capped and all the sudden everyone is calling each other racist names. Sounds like a woke writer imprinting his/her/xe’s interpretation of of the past.
Freddie bag of donuts via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/18/20
Wow! I really enjoyed this. The old time feel mixed with modern influences, the mystery, the characters, the comedy. I enjoyed this very much:)

Great ride to go on - with an amazing use of sound to create space/atmosphere. If you like murder mysteries this is definitely for you.

Do yourself a favor and skip through the ads. They were loud and irritating. I have no problem with ads in general but these were worse than fingernails on a chalk board. THE SHOW IS FANTASTIC!!! Great characters and the actors are superb!!
rocksea64 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/18/20
This show is so great, I just listened to it a second time! Put it in your ears! Unfortunately there was a super frustrating audio issue with the very last episode (sound cuts out for a second every 30 seconds) and I really hope they can fix the glitch

So, so good! Enjoyed it all. Love the theatrics!
mama machine via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/08/20
Wonderful cast, wonderful acting, wonderful production values... But such a weak, poorly clued mystery. Actually, it wasn’t even poorly clued, it was not clued at all. No spoilers but the eventual reveal of the killer is a massive disappointment. The motive is pulled out of thin air. This would...Read full review »

At the first few episodes, it felt like it dragged. Or maybe it was because Olivia whined about everything. Everything. And at times contradicted herself, “I hate these people, they’re bullies” only then to ‘question’ suspects and bullied them. By the end, the characters became more likable,...Read full review »

It was awesome. I felt like I was in a Agatha Christie’s novel! The characters are well played, the story is funny and thrilling at the same time. Hope this team will do another podcast like that soon!
