Entertainment and consolation
Mallory is funny and offers refreshing perspectives on many of the issues she receives. I appreciate her compassion and her frequent refusal to go along with popular opinion, such as her advice that not dating might be the right move for the lovelorn. And sometimes murdering your spouse is just the only way to go. She often overestimates how much support people will have from their friends and families, and seems to assume most people can afford therapy, but if you can adjust yourself to the fact that you just live in a grittier world than she does, the podcast is consistently rewarding.
