I owe my love of podcasts all to DIIV!
This was my first ever venture into podcast land, and that turned out to be extremely fortuitous! I couldn’t sleep, I was looking for something I could follow that didn’t require me staring at a screen and thought this sounded interesting. Laying in the dark, the echoes of a woman’s voice bounced around a frozen valley within my mind. What is she saying? I feel like she’s locked on the other side of a membrane, desperately trying to tell me her story but I just can’t quite hear her enough…the Istal Woman lived in my mind, and I could feel the frost encasing the body hair that was standing on end. Atmospheric doesn’t begin to cover what this podcast delivers, I became completely immersed. I had only got to about 5 episodes in before I had to start waiting for the next to be released. And I was so excited every time I couldn’t breathe! I then shared it with everyone I knew and got them hooked too! We promised to listen together as they were released but I could never wait and would just relisten with everyone later 😂 This podcast is still super special to me, and I would recommend it to everyone and anyone. Although I do always recommend putting headphones in, turning out or dimming the lights and preferably letting the room get a little cold, and you’ll be teleported to another land in space and time.

Has great potential, but was unnecessarily padded out. We shall see how it progresses
