Disappointing
I used to be a fan of Mehdi. There's no question he's an intellgient and eloquent man but this podcast was disappointing for me. Most of the shows seemt to consist of Mehdi moralising pontficating and bloviating his way through various geo-political issues. His latest interventionist stance on Syria is particularly disturbing as the reality is his stance is that of a Western neo-liberal. War according to him is justified as long as its 'legal' and as long as the conscience of Western racist imperialists have been ingratiated. Coming from a British Pakistani Muslim thats deeply disappointing especially for a man like Mehdi whose certainly intelligient enough to know the difference as well as the consequence.
