“Each episode starts with "your designers are here." Between the opening and mention of clients, I assumed these were professionals. Unfortunately, there are times when their lack of expertise is evident.
Much of the time, it sounds like one of the hosts is reading a Wikipedia page. There are certain concepts related to fabric and decorating, like thread count, for example, that a professional should be able to explain without doing research. The paint episode was especially bizarre. The discussion of paint sheens didn't include eggshell, which is the most popular finish available.
They are three girlfriends (though it's obvious that Yvonne is decidedly less sophisticated and rougher around the edges than the others) talking about decorating, which is totally fine. They just need to step back from positioning themselves as experts because their knowledge is lacking.
