“Thanks. That was a great podcast and although I often disagree with you I can’t say enough to back you up about this theme. We have a very eloquent President of baseball operations. Unfortunately he is also the master of corporate non-speak. I wish you had the opportunity to follow up with your question about Atkins responsibility for this disastrous season. Our team is worse, our minor league prospects are worse and our development of talent is worse than almost all teams in baseball. How many minor leaguers are in the top 100 in MLB? It is pitiful. Unfortunately it will now take years after 2025 to rebuild our system. Our drafting is atrocious and our development (which is a direct result of poor drafting) is substantially subpar. All our top prospects went 7-17 in September. Our top prospects! Oh well, I await our new saviour when the Shatkins failure experiment ends. This is on Rogers. It was they who went hunting for a new president before advising the then current president he was being replaced. Amateur hour.”

“This show can be entertaining at times if you can get past Wilner’s smug ‘know it all’ rudeness. However there isn’t anything here that you can’t find listening to your local sports radio station, and in the end, Wilner remains a bush league host at best. Pass on this one folks.”
