“Last year I would have rated the podcast very good overall. But the Long Toss with Ross Stripling this season takes it to a whole new level. It would be worth the price (if there was a price—but please don’t get any ideas!) if it were just this segment and nothing else. I also love the way Mike features Canadian angles. It’s about the Blue Jays but not only the Blue Jays. I also enjoy his weekly narration of “the week that was.” Part of what makes baseball special is the way each season unfolds as a story with chapters and characters and subplots. And Mike is a good (if sometimes apologetic) storyteller.”
