New age teaching, movies promoting the "dark side", and books normalising witchcraft have seen an explosion of interest in the occult. Right alongside this is a growth in the very real need for deliverance. Sadly, the Western church is largely impotent in this area. No histrionics, no yelling and screaming, no arrogance and grandstanding, but a firm surety of who they are in Christ, a knowledge of the foundational causes for demonic entry and how to deal with that, and firm commands to demons to leave after dealing with the rights of entry.
