Zali Steggel
That was fascinating interview with Zali. We are getting so little airtime given to the independents. It’s great to hear her describe her pragmatic approach. And I agree so much that our politics have been diminished by the “career” politicians with no lived experience to bring to the job. And I love that Zali actually got Mark to shut up long enough to allow her to answer the great questions. It was interesting in the questioning of Zali that showed Mark and Paul’s struggle to think in a non-party politics mode. If the current trends continue, journalists and the dinosaur political parties are going to have to understand and deal with independents and how independents actually work. Keep up the great work.
