Belgian-based Melbourne Football Club fan
I wrote a review a while ago, but in the last couple of years, perhaps buoyed by the Dees premiership year of 2021 the podcast has only got better to a point that frankly, what Andy, George and Binman deliver is worth paying money for. Why this glowing review? It is quite simple. They are unique amongst a crowded field of TV, radio, social media and podcasts commentary and analysis of the games played in general and specifically on the Demons game. The paid professionals are required to cover all 9 games each week and cannot devote all their efforts to analysis to the Dees game. Other Dees podcasts can be entertaining but they are mates talking about the Dees. Passionate yes, but they do not bring the detailed analysis. Working without the benefit of some of the Champion data analysis provided to the paid professionals each week, the team manages to provide a well-reasoned and insightful review of what the Dees did well, did poorly. I live in Brussels, Belgium and only get to watch the games on TV. I am the kind of viewer who 'sees ball, follows ball', even when I watch the replays, so I miss a lot as to how and why. The Demonland team, stimulated by the added segment of Listeners Questions, voicemails or the odd live call to the show, by the time the show finishes have left me significantly better informed about the 'whys and wherefores' of that week's game. A feeling I cannot expect to get from either the paid professionals or the other passionate Dees podcasts.Read full review »

I enjoyed it straight away and very quickly started looking forward to it as part of every week. I love the scale of different outlooks of the team with Andy at half-empty and...Read full review »
