“Today was a day of frustration. I felt like this week i kept getting knocked back down every time i tried to get back up. Life was and still is getting to me. I sobbed in the car on my way back home from visiting my family. It was one of the stressor that’s tipped the scale today. I was a mess in the car but i had to let it out. So i ugly cried a bit and then i got it together. Something told me to just listen to a podcast. I never listen to podcasts. I’m 23 and i didn’t know that it was so popular amongst people my age to be honest. The app just laid stagnant on my phone, taking up space in a folder but today i just really needed some encouragement. Something. I listened to about two on self help and then i found you Ty. I listened to your entire series on my drive. I actually started from 10 and worked down because it was the first to pop up. I laughed, i learned, i understood, but most importantly, I LISTENED! You spoke nothing but facts and what i like that separated you from the other two i listened to....what drew me in, was that you are just you. You don’t sugar coat or put on a front for your listeners. You curse, joke and are so relatable. It just seemed so genuine. Thank you for guiding me today. I have subscribed and am looking forward to another podcast!
