My kind of club!
I started listening when kotaku recommended the FF9 episodes and I was hooked! I love the format that replicates a book club, but you don't need to play along to enjoy the show. To be sure, I do enjoy it more when I am familiar with the game, but there's still a lot to learn even if you never played the game. Great book-club-like podcast about two veteran game devs and their view on games of the past. I really enjoy their insight on game design. The Final Fantasy episodes got me hooked, since then I am looking forward for the weekly updates. Thanks for making this podcast. You earned your five stars!
